In the following, we will inform you in detail about which personal data (i.e. data that make a reference to your person possible, such as name, address or IP address) we collect on our website, for what purpose and how long this data is stored. In the following, we will inform you in detail about the rights you have with regard to data processing and how you can assert these rights. You can find more information on the legislation here: DSGVO.Under point I. you will find an overview of the data we collect. In section II, we explain how we collect it, and in section III, you will find out what rights you are entitled to.If you have any questions or comments about data protection on our website, please feel free to contact us at any time. For example, you can contact us by e-mail at info@forestlemonade.

Part I.
a.) Overview of the data we collect
We collect data of various kinds on our Internet pages. On the one hand, this data is collected when you provide it to us. This may be personal data, i.e. data that you enter voluntarily, for example when you order something in our online store, subscribe to a newsletter or contact us, share a cooking recipe with us, participate in sweepstakes, enter a contest or use similar services. On the other hand, we collect information and general data about the use of our online offer via cookies used on our website, which are automatically transmitted to us, or to third parties, when you use our website.

b.) Collection of personal data
In principle, the use of our Internet pages is regularly possible without providing personal data. In the case of merely informative use of our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server (see so-called “server log files”). This is mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website. However, only in a few cases, listed individually below, is the voluntary provision of personal data necessary, as we cannot otherwise provide you with our online services.

c.) Automatically collected data
In addition to the personal data that you enter voluntarily, we also collect automated data each time you visit our website, which enables us to provide you with a smooth use of our website and to make certain information and links from third parties directly available to you. In the following, we will describe the various programs we use, the purpose of their integration and the categories of data that are collected. Most of the programs used use so-called “cookies” to collect data. Cookies are small text files that are automatically created by your Internet browser and stored locally on your terminal device (personal computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website.Cookies do not cause any damage to your terminal device. The use of cookies serves the purpose that we can make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. Cookies allow us, for example, to recognize you when you visit our website again, so that you do not have to repeat personal settings you have made. In addition, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (e.g. Google Analytics). All cookies are automatically deleted after a respectively defined period of time when they have fulfilled their purpose. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can generally prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by selecting “do not accept cookies” in your browser settings. You can also set your browser to ask you if you agree before setting cookies. Finally, you can also delete cookies once they have been set at any time. For details on how all of this works, please refer to the instructions provided by your browser operator. Please note, however, that these settings only apply to the respective end device and the browser on or in which they were made.

Teil II. a.) Log files
When you access our website, the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected automatically (IP address, date and time of access, if applicable the name and URL of the accessed file, if applicable the website from which the access is made (referrer URL), the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider). The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user’s computer. For this purpose, the user’s IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. The aforementioned data is processed by us for administrative purposes as well as to ensure a smooth connection setup and a comfortable use of our website for you as well as to ensure that our system operates in a secure and stable manner. The data processing is based on our existing legitimate interest in data processing for the aforementioned purposes and thus on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

b.) Contacting us
When contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. If your contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter concerned has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

c.) Cookies
In order to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information such as browser and location data and IP address values to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website as well as a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit. We also use cookies on our website for the purpose of enabling an analysis of the surfing behavior of our site visitors. Furthermore, we use cookies for the purpose of subsequently addressing site visitors on other websites with targeted, interest-related advertising. The processing takes place on the basis of § 15 (3) TMG and Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest in the above purposes. The data collected from you in this way is pseudonymized by technical precautions. An assignment of the data to your person is therefore no longer possible. The data will not be stored together with other personal data of yours. You have the right to object at any time to this processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO for reasons arising from your particular situation.Cookies are stored on your computer. Therefore, you have full control over the use of cookies. By selecting the appropriate technical settings in your Internet browser, you can prevent the storage of cookies and transmission of the data they contain. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. Please note that you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.
